Our Team
The Scott Mission team is led by the Executive Director, David J. Smith. Click here to read David's blog.
David joined the Mission in January, 2004, after serving nine years as the Executive Director of Evangel Hall, the neighbouring Presbyterian mission. Prior to this, he was a consultant with a major consulting firm where he specialized in organizational effectiveness. Before that, he was a member of the Society of St. Francis, an Anglican organization working with parishes and the needy in New York City. David holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, and a BA in economics from Carleton University.
The
various outreach ministries of the Mission are managed by Peter
Duraisami, Director of Ministries. Peter has been with the Mission for
the past 15 years in positions of increasing responsibility. Originally
from India, Peter is a Chartered Accountant and Senior Pastor of the
Church on the Rock, an independent evangelical Christian congregation
in Toronto.
